Volunteering

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Holy Childhood is in need of volunteers to assist with various activities and events throughout the year.  Volunteers serve in a variety of roles, whether selling raffle tickets, helping at of our fundraiser golf tournaments, volunteering at our annual Wine at Center Ice event, or maybe monitoring a hole at our ladies or annual golf tournaments. New opportunities are added throughout the year, so check back often or call our Development Office to find out what's coming up next!  Thank you for supporting Holy Childhood!  We couldn't do it without you!

For more information about any of our volunteering opportunities, please contact our Development Office at 585-359-3710

Where We Need Help

Would you like to share some of your skills with Holy Childhood? If so, you've come to right place! There are many ways to make a difference within our agency. Contact our Development Office at (585)359-3710 for more information.

Do you enjoy helping out at events?

We host several events each year and we could always use help on the day-of for setup, cleanup, registration, and much more. Additionally, we sometimes have booths at community events and could use your help to represent Holy Childhood! This opportunity is perfect for the volunteer who has a flexible schedule and enjoys interacting with the local community. Contact Brittany Neumann, Coordinator of Special Events & Fundraising

Are you interested in event planning?

We have fundraising events throughout the year where volunteers are needed, involved in securing sponsors, acquiring in-kind gifts, and helping us ensure a successful event. We also have other events such as our annual Art and Craft Sale and Candy Sale that require pre-event planning. Volunteer time requirements are a bit less demanding but equally as important!

Do you have a knack for crafting?

Each Tuesday morning, a group of talented volunteers come together to socialize and make countless craft items sold at our annual Art and Craft event in November. Not available every Tuesday? Work from home and touch base with the group as your schedule allows!

Are you a student needing to complete service hours?

We welcome high school and college students to visit Holy Childhood and participate in projects designed to compliment their academic work and/or community service needs. Please contact Rose Marie Pape with your project requirements (hours needed, anticipated date of completion, and desired outcomes) as soon as possible.

Is your company looking for an opportunity to give back and build team spirit?

We routinely host groups from local companies for days of service at our agency. Consider bringing your group here on Day of Caring!  Other dates are scheduled based on agency needs and the availability of a mutually agreeable date. Contact Brittany Neumann, Coordinator of Special Events & Fundraising.  Typical projects include:

  • Painting
  • Weeding and/or Mulching
  • Cleaning of building interior
  • Cleaning of outside windows

Contact our Development Office at (585) 359-3710 for more information.
